ATA with Qemu-kvm is slow

Description
The ATA driver doesn't play nice with qemu-kvm. Loading the init module is slow as hell, lagging on line 101 while probbing a drive. GCC is also very slow, lagging on read()'s.
Its only while running as a VM. Try it with the -no-kvm option and it runs normally.

Hasn't been reported as a problem, and I've not seen the same issue with qemu-kvm. Closed.
